FOR FINANCE
9:00
Status at a glance
Pending, partial, paid and overdue in one list. Due and overdue reminders have already gone out.
10:30
A draft to review
A change-request draft from yesterday's meeting waits in Payments. The client can't see it, and no email went out.
14:00
Issue
Issue it: due in 14 days, VAT mode set, proforma PDF drawn, client notified.
16:30
Retainer balances
Two retainers passed 80%. Hours beyond each pack will be billed at the overage rate.
- 01DraftCreate a draft yourself, or get one from a scope alert. Clients never see drafts.
- 02IssueIssue it from Payments. It's due in 14 days, and the notification and proforma are created at that moment.
- 03RemindYour client and your team are notified as the due date nears and when it passes.
- 04PaidRecord a partial or full payment. The receipt PDF is drawn on its own.
THE SCOPE MOMENT
"Could you add an Arabic version of the deck as well?"
Once it's flagged out of scope and you press the button, it reaches you as a draft invoice with the amount set in code, out of every total until you issue it.
How Scope Shield worksNo. Drafts never appear in the portal, send no email, proforma or reminder, and can't be marked paid. They stay out of totals, the dashboard and SAI's finance answers until you issue them.
Per invoice: standard when the client is in your country, export-exempt for a business abroad, and not applicable when you haven't set a tax country. The database refuses an exemption for a domestic client.
Proformas and receipts are drawn in English or Turkish, from a snapshot of the details at the moment of issue. The app itself works in English, Turkish and Arabic.
